Lithium EP Grease
This product is a multi-purpose industrial grease made from lithium soap, high quality base oils, and extreme pressure (EP) additives along with corrosion and oxidation inhibitors. This grease resists squeeze-out and protects heavily loaded bearing surfaces against wear. It also resists the washing and leaching action of water.
It has an excellent pumpability in extended automatic distribution systems thanks to its smooth and transparent texture. This product is stable in storage and does not soften or harden excessively under severe working conditions such as high pressure or temperature services.
This product is recommended for lubrication in operating conditions with severe shocks, heavy loads or water contamination. Typical applications of this grease are plain brass and Babbitt roll neck bearings, mill screws and nuts, shears, presses and shearing lines in steel mills and other metal working applications. It is also suitable for large rolling element bearings on the dry and wet ends of paper machines and other applications in mining, construction and marine equipment operating under adverse conditions.
It can be used at operating temperatures from about – 20 °C to 120 °C in wet or dry conditions. It can also be used at higher temperatures up to 150 °C intermittently if the re-lubricating schedule is shortened proportionally.
This product is delivered in NLGI grades 1, 2 and 3 but can be produced in other grades as per request of costumers. The values shown here are typical of current production figure and may vary within modest range.
